God’s Grace Preparing
for Back to School and Work

The folks at God’s Grace have been busy sorting, cleaning, sizing all sorts of things to help the kiddos go back to school and parents to go back to work.  Our showroom changes with the addition of new items.

We are, as always, anxious to give our wares to whomever is in need.  Come let us help you dress the children in lightweight, comfortable clothes for those hot days at the start of school.  We can also help you moms and dads find the ideal look for I interviewing for a new job, going to church, or going to an important meeting.

Summer store hours are: Mondays from 4 – 7; Wednesdays from 1 – 4, and the fourth Saturday of the month from 10 – 2.

The store is on the north side of the building, just off the parking lot. Should the door seem locked during open hours, please knock. Our door relocks itself without our knowledge. If you, or any of your friends are needing anything we stock, please come visit with us. If you need assistance during times when the store is closed, please call 812-720-1187 or leave a message at the church office: 988-9764.

Our free store does rely on contributions to keep our shelves stocked.

Currently we are in need of shampoo, conditioner, adult toothbrushes, toothpaste, body wash, kitchen linen, queen sheets, light weight blankets, deodorant, bath linen, and body lotion.  Donations may be brought inside to us during regular hours.  Since we have no outdoor facilities, please do NOT leave things outside the building.

God's Grace Geared for Cold Weather

God’s Grace is a busy place this holiday season.  Well stocked with warm clothing, coats, hats, gloves, and cozy scarves,  it is welcoming more and more of our Brown County friends and neighbors. This free store can also supply kitchen and bath needs, bed linens, and toys.   It is amazing how much the store changes and grows each week.  We are learning that those who were affected by the flood are starting to get settled into more permanent structures and are finding things still missing from their collections.

Winter store hours are:  Mondays from 4 – 7;  Wednesdays from 1 – 4, and the fourth Saturday of the month from 10 – 2.

As always, we rely on your donations to support this mission.  Currently we are in need of new socks and underwear for men, women, and children, blankets, queen-size fitted sheets, bath linens, sweaters, and coats.  Donations  may be brought inside the north entrance during store hours.

The faith-based community of Brown County is alive and well.  Members of our congregation, as well as members our other neighboring churches, work hard to provide this service for our local families.  This is one ship that could not sail without the help of all concerned.
