IN MEMORY
OF: Kurt Eldon Piper
|
Kurt Eldon Piper, 73, Neptune, OH, passed away peacefully, Friday, May 24,
2013, 5:30 AM, at his residence.
He was born June 23, 1939 in Neptune, OH, the son of Lowell “Bud”
and Ada (Martin) Piper, both preceded him in death. On May 27, 1961 he married Amelia Sue Hertenstein; she preceded
him in death on December 22, 1997.
He is survived by four daughters, Julie (Lyle) Albert, St. Marys, Mary (Terry)
Wagner, Celina, Jill (Scott) Cisco, St. Marys, and Kelly Rempe, Celina; a son, Chad Piper, New Bremen; 13 grandchildren, Zachary,
Tyler, Molly, Stuart, Cody, Jessica, Kara, Caleb, Joshua, Connor, Derek, Kyle and Tommy; and a very special friend, Mary Widenhofer,
Fort Wayne, IN.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Delbert Piper.
Kurt was a 1957 graduate
of Celina High School. He served his country in the United States Army. He retired from Parker Hannifin, St. Marys
after 17 plus years. In addition, he worked at Avco New Idea, Coldwater, OH for 20 years.
He was a member
of Neptune Church of God, Neptune, OH, Celina Moose and the American Legion Celina Post 210.
He enjoyed hunting,
fishing, riding his motorcycle, traveling and he love spending time with his family at his home in Neptune.
Visitation
hours will be from 2 – 7 on Tuesday May 28, 2013 in Cisco Funeral Home 1175 E. Greenville Rd., St. Marys. Funeral
services will be on Wednesday at 10:30 AM in Cisco Funeral Home, St. Marys with Rev. William E. Maki, officiating; where the
family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Neptune Cemetery, Neptune, OH; where
military honors will be given by the St. Marys VFW Post 9289.

Ted Stott, 87, Celina, died May 21, 2013, at 7:55 a.m. at Celina Manor Nursing
Home.
He was born Nov. 1, 1925, in Stanolardville, Utah, to George Oren and Emma Vilate (Allred) Stott. On April
6, 1944, he was married to Imogene Patricia Strom, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, George Alfred (Linda)
Stott of Knoxville, Tenn.; two daughters, Mary Linda (Warren) Stevenson of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Patty Kay (Fred) Lewis
of Englewood, Colo.; 15 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 7 stepgrandchildren; 30 step-great-grandchildren; and 8 step-great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four brothers, Gerald, Vear, Glenn and Lee Stott; two sisters, Leah Eddington and Blanche George;
and two great-grandchildren.
He earned a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering from Montana State
University. He served with the U.S. Air Force during World War II as a flight maintenance gunner and flew 22 missions. His
B-17 was shot down twice and the second time he spent time in a POW camp.
He was a Little League baseball and
football coach, and served on the Celina school board, city recreation board and Celina charter commission.
He
was a retired engineer with the former New Idea Company in Coldwater and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter
Day Saints. His memberships included the American Society of Agricultural Engineers, Farm Equipment Manufacturers Assoc.,
Celina American Legion, Mercer County Elks and Celina Lions Club.
Services are 1 p.m. Saturday at Cisco Funeral
Home, Celina. Burial will be at a later date at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colo.

Jerry W. “Krogie” Krogman, 66, St. Marys, passed away peacefully,
Tuesday, 2:20 PM, May 21, 2013, at his residence.
He was born August, 9, 1946 in Celina, OH, the son of Glenn and
Margaret (Sawmiller) Krogman.
He is survived by his mother, Margaret Krogman, Mendon; two sons, Matthew Krogman,
Mendon and Bart Krogman, Columbus; two daughters, Nikki Moon, St. Marys and Misty Rockwood, Wapakoneta, a sister-in-law, Linda
Krogman, Mendon; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Larry “Froggy”
Krogman; and a grandson, Daniel McBride.
Jerry was a 1964 graduate of Mendon Union High School. He served
his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company on March
1, 2003 after 30 plus years of service. He also worked as a water safety instructor for the Red Cross – Van Wert,
CPR instructor for the Heart Association – Auglaize County, EMT Medic – Mercer County.
He was a member
of Mendon United Methodist Church, St. Marys VFW Post 9289, American Legion St. Marys Post 323 the St. Marys Eagles Aerie
767, Masons, AMVETS. He was a past master of Mendon Lodge #586 F&AM.
He had many hobbies, but his favorites
included riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and golfing.
Visitation hours will be from 9 – Noon on Friday
May 24, 2012 in Cisco Funeral Home 1175 E. Greenville Rd., St. Marys. Funeral services will follow at Noon in the funeral
home with Rev. Donald Clinger, officiating. Where military honors will be given by the St. Marys VFW Post 9289.

Franklin Stoner
|
George Franklin Stoner, 88, Celina, went to be with his heavenly Father
at 8:45 p.m. May 6, 2013, at the Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford. He was born Oct. 27, 1924, in Liberty
Township, to George Sr. and Sarah Cordier Stoner. On Sept. 9, 1951, she married Frances M. Shellabarger, who survives.
Also surviving are four sons, James (Cheryl) Stoner of Celina, John (Bobbi) Stoner of Celina, Jerry (Angela) Stoner
of Celina and Thomas (Julie) Stoner of Raleigh, N.C.; two daughters, Donna (Raymond) May of Celina and Deanna (Jim) Miller
of Celina; a brother, Edwin (Yvonne) Stoner of Celina; a sister, Mary Riley of Convoy; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by three brothers, Russell Ferguson, Lester Ferguson and David Stoner; four sisters, Carolyn
Sue VanTilburg, Rose Ann Stoner, Madonna Stoner and Lenore Hawkins; and one grandchild. He was a retired farmer and a U.S Navy veteran of World War II. He was a former county ASCS Service Agency
field reporter, a NAU Crop Insurance Adjuster for the state, and served on the Celina School Board.
He also served
on the Soil and Water Conservation Board of Mercer County, was president of the Mercer County Pork Producers and a 1951 State
Plow Champion in the Ohio Conference. He was an elder, teacher and superintendent at Mt. Carmel Church of God.
Funeral
services are 11 a.m. Friday at the church, the Revs. Mark Wakeland and Mike Spencer officiating. Burial with military rites will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday
at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, and one hour prior to services at the church.
Memorials may be given to State
of the Heart Hospice and Parkinson's Association.

John A. Fuson, 49, Celina, died at 9:55 p.m. April 22, 2013, at Mercer County
Community Hospital, Coldwater. He was born April 22, 1964, in Toledo to Lonnie and Gloria Adams Fuson, who
survive in Frakes, Ky. On June 13, 1987, he married Sherry Becky Goins, who also survives.
Other survivors are
a son, Derrin Fuson, Celina; two daughters, Jessica (Kyle) Lehman, Celina, and Katrina (Brandon Edwards) Fuson, Celina; a
brother, David (Danielle) Fuson, St. Marys; a sister, Susie (Roger) Partin, Frakes. Ky.; in-laws, Alan and Ginny Goins, Celina,
Casey and Joanna Goins, Celina, and Bud Goins, Celina; several nieces and nephews; and seven grandchildren.
Deceased
is an in-law, Sherry Goins.
He loved fishing, camping and hunting and enjoyed spending time with his family and
grandkids. He was a hot rod collector. He owned and operated Heavy Metal Auto Recycling for 25 years and was a member of the
Chenoa Baptist Church, Frakes, Ky.
Services are 7 p.m. Friday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Jerry Fuson
officiating. Calling is 3-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

|
Orin J. Roettger, 89, St. Marys, passed away peacefully, Sunday, 12:15 am,
April 21, 2013, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
He was born September 17, 1923 in New
Bremen, OH, the son of Clarence and Luetta (Dammeyer) Roettger, who preceded him in death.
On October 3,
1942, he married Lois Boroff, they were married for 69 years, she survives at the residence.
He is also survived
by four daughters, Donna (Rick) Moon, St. Marys, Judy (George) Sheipline, St. Marys, Carol (Tom) Baeumel, Wapakoneta and Emma
(Dennis) Metzger, St. Marys; a son Rodney (Kelli) Roettger, Wapakoneta; 17 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 13 great
great grandchildren.
He is also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jeni Roettger; a great granddaughter,
Amber Williams; brother, Norb Roettger; and four sisters, Marie Neuman, Lucille Rumpff, Catherine Dingledine and La
Verta Joyce.
Orin served his country in the United States Army during WWII in Italy in the 10th infantry mountaineer
division. He was a radio telephone operator. He retired from the St. Marys Foundry after 46 years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He loved the small farm they lived on raising a variety of animals.
He was a member of the St. Marys Church of Nazarene.
A visitation will be from 3 – 7 pm on Tuesday, April
23, 2013 in Cisco Funeral Home 1175 E. Greenville Rd., St. Marys.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on
Wednesday in the funeral home with Rev. Bill A. Drummond officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens
in St. Marys, OH. Military honors will be provided by the St. Marys VFW.

Joyce R. Crouch, 76, Celina, died April 8, 2013, at Joint Township District
Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. She was born Nov. 2, 1936, in Celina to Robert and Cleo Smith Now, who are both deceased. On
Dec. 11, 1954, she married Richard Crouch, who died in 2009.
Surviving are three sons, Richard Crouch of Celina,
Roger Crouch of Celina and Robert (Deb) Crouch of Troy; three daughters, Judy (Steve) Zehringer of Coldwater, Janet Crouch
of Celina and Jill Crouch of Celina; two sisters, Wanda Crouch of Celina and Virginia (Rex) Werst of Celina; 15 grandchildren;
and 16 great-grandchildren.
Also deceased are two brothers, Donald Now and Dale Now; a sister, Norma Now; and
one great-grandchild.
She was retired and had worked at Buckeye Apparel, Huffy and Goodyear.
A gathering
of her friends and family is 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina.

Paul W. Luth, 77, Celina, died April 7, 2013, at 1:10 pm. At Laurels of Shane
Hill, Rockford, Ohio. He was born April 30, 1935, in Mercer Co., Ohio, to the late Robert and Florence Regedanz Luth.
On October 26, 1959 he married Susan Hutchinson, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Mark (Charyl) Luth,
Celina, Ohio; Michael Luth, Troy, Ohio; a brother Jerry (Judy) Luth, Findlay, Ohio; a sister Sharon (Paul) Miller, Mendon,
Ohio; six grandchildren, Eriaka Luth, Trevor Luth, Tim Helmrich, Tara Luth, Derek Luth, Jason Luth.
Paul was a
retired farmer and a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Hopewell Township. He was a 1953 Rockford High Graduate.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Karen Tamorria Officiating. Burial will be follow at Memory Gardens,
Celina, Ohio.

Leo Helentjaris, 89, Celina, died 1:20 a.m. March 28, 2013, at Joint Township
District Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 13, 1923, in Dayton, to Thomas and Lillian Bailey Helentjaris. On Aug. 30, 1947,
he married Henrietta White, who died April 25, 2012. Surviving are two sons, Thomas (Brenda) Helentjaris,
Hoenwald, Tenn., and David (Linda) Helentjaris, Celina; a daughter, Linda (Charles) Creiglow, Thompkinsville, Ky.; and a sister,
Lillian Vann, Dayton. Also deceased are a son, Paul Chris Helentjaris; a grandson, Corbin; a sister, Helen; and four
brothers, Luvern, George, Homer and Thomas Helentjaris.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in World War II and
was retired from Huffy after 40 years of service. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Celina, the Celina American
Legion and St. John's Builders. He coached little league baseball for 15 years and helped
start the little league football program in 1960. Graveside
services are 1 p.m. Saturday at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina, the Rev. Douglas Meyer and Jeff Gramza officiating. Military
rites will be performed by Celina VFW and the American Legion.
A gathering of family and friends will follow the
services at the church's Family Life Center.

Glen S. "Grinny" Fox, 89, Celina, died April 2, 2013, at 10:15
a.m. at Van Wert County Hospital, Van Wert.
He was born Sept. 14, 1923, in Mendon, to Pete and Hazel Stewart Fox.
On Feb. 8, 1945, he married Dorothy Fox, who died November 1985. On Sept. 6, 1993, he married Kathy Clay Fast, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Tim (Diana) Fox, Franklin,
N.C.; two stepsons, Tom Fast, Westerville, and Tim (Danene) Fast, Worthington; two daughters, Debi (David) VanGundy, Celina,
and Pamela Stose, Celina; one stepdaughter, Tara Fast, Upper Arlington; a brother, Gary (Patty) Fox of Hamilton; a sister,
Barbara Armstrong, Mendon; four sisters-in-law, Loajean Fox, Coldwater, Elaine Fox, Arcanum, Betty Fox, Sidney, and Kathleen
Fox, Celina; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Also deceased are a son-in-law, Everett Stose; five brothers, Paul, Wayne, Lewis, Calvin and Charles Fox; and
a sister, Lois Nolan.
He was a 1941 Rockford High School graduate, a U.S. Army World War II veteran and an apartment
manager for Yorkshire Place Ltd.
He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Rockford, the Celina
American Legion, Celina Moose, Celina VFW and Celina Eagles.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the
Rev. Catherine Costello officiating. Burial will follow at United Church of Christ Cemetery with military rites performed
by Celina VFW and American Legion.

p.m. Friday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, and and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. There will be a VFW and American
Legion service at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Lake Improvement Association.

Larry Sattler, 62, Celina, died at 7:45 a.m. March 31, 2013, at his home.
He was born July 21, 1950, in Carson City, Mich., to Leonard J. and Josephine Babe Hiner Sattler, who both are
deceased. On Oct. 5, 1968, he married Barbara Hawkey, who survives in Celina.
Also surviving are a son, Scott
(Amy) Sattler of Celina; two brothers, Donald D. (Rusti) Sattler of St. Louis, Mich., and Daniel (Dawn) Sattler of Farrwell,
Mich.; three sisters, Shelly (Ron) Kipp of Carson City, Mich., Georgia (Dave) Fedewa of Perrinton, Mich., and Debbie (Ron)
Schrader of DeWitt, Mich.; many nieces and nephews; and three grandchildren, Kollin, Kalynn and Kole.
He was preceded
in death by his stepfather, Cecil Henry; a brother, Ronald Sattler; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Charles (Rosemary)
Hawkey; and his sister-in-law, Sherrie Sattler.
He formerly owned Mid Way Trailer Sales. He also was a member
of the NRA, Ducks Unlimited, the Mercer County Sportsman Club, and a drag-racing member of the NHRA.
Funeral services
are 11 a.m. Thursday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Neal Whitney officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Mercer
Memory Gardens.

Albert Heckler, 91, Celina, died at 6:04 p.m. on Good Friday, March 29, 2013,
at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born Dec. 14, 1921, in Celina to Peter J. and
Rose H. Wiseman Heckler. On Aug. 24, 1946, he married Anna Rita Mestemaker, who survives in Celina.
Also surviving
are two sons, Dr. Thomas (Sharon) Heckler of Lima and Ralph (Marsha) Heckler of St. Marys; a daughter-in-law, Lori Heckler
of Montezuma; a daughter, Rosann Heckler of Coldwater; a brother, Maurice (Hannah) Heckler of Celina; a sister-in-law, Phillys
Heckler of Celina; and four grandchildren, Christine Heckler, Elizabeth Heckler, Abby Heckler and Jeffrey (Julie) Heckler.
Deceased are a son, Lawrence "Larry" Heckler; five brothers, twin Edward (Esther) Heckler, Dale (Colleen)
Heckler, Carl (Mabel) Heckler, Earl (Mildred) Heckler and Wayne Heckler; and a sister, Rita (Alvin) Mestemaker.
He graduated in 1941 from Immaculate Conception School. He served as a sergeant in the Front Line 83rd Infantry, 329th Regiment
in France for the U.S. Army during WWII. He received a Purple Heart and Bronze Star for his service.
He was president
of the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery Board. Cheryl Ann School began the Albert Heckler award in his honor. He retired from CBS
Automotive.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Celina, Knights of Columbus, Veterans of Foreign
Wars and American Legion and served on the advisory board at Cheryl Ann.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday
at Immaculate Conception Church, Rev. Kenneth Alt officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina. Military rites are 7 p.m. Tuesday at
the funeral home and will be performed by Celina VFW and American Legion.
Memorials may be given to Cheryl Ann
School.

Jerry D. Piper, 60, Celina, died at 12:37 a.m. March 25, 2013, at Mercer
County Community Hospital, Coldwater. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born May 21, 1952, in Celina to
Dana and Mary Cisco Piper. His mother is deceased, and his father resides in Celina. On Sept. 2, 1972, he was married to Linda
Hime, who survives in Celina.
Also surviving are a son, Brad (Jacci) Piper, Celina; a daughter, Cari (Avery) Calabrese,
Celina; three brothers, Dennis (Vicki) Piper, James (Carol) Piper and Andy (Deb) Piper, all of Celina; a sister, Charlene
(Rick) Brooks, Celina; and two grandchildren, Ethan Piper and Lucy Piper.
He was a 1970 graduate of Celina High
School and had worked in the maintenance department at St. Marys Living Center. He also had worked at Huffy's, The Laurels
of Shane Hill and Community First. He was a member of the Celina Moose Lodge and Celina Eagles. Services
will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina. The Rev. Robert Ellis will officiate, and burial will be at a later
date.
Calling is 1-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Robert C. Cisco Sr., 87, St. Marys, OH, died 2:30 PM
on July 30, 2012, surrounded by his family. He was born January 11, 1925 in Allen County, OH. to O.V. Bud and Mary “Mollie”
(Sherer) Cisco. He married Elnora Weyant on August 22, 1945, they were together for almost 67 years and she survives.
Survivors include three sons, Robert L. (Karen) Cisco, Celina, Veryl (Denise) Cisco, St.
Marys, Dennis (Krista) Cisco, Anna; two daughters, Judy (Roy) McGinnis, St. Marys, Sharon (Mike) Miller, Wapakoneta;
a brother in law, Dana Piper, Neptune; a sister in law, Ina Faye Cisco, Celina and 9 grandchildren, Tammy, Melinda, Becki
& Rob; Craig & Audra, Matt and Jacqui & Ally; 20 great grandchildren, plus a soon to be great grandchild, and
10 step great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by six brothers Forrest, Veryl, James, William, Owen “Barney”
and Ray Cisco; two sisters, Mary Piper and Ruth Tinnerman, and 1 grandchild, Brian Cisco.
Bob retired from Ford
Motor Company, Lima, in 1987. He was a member of Wayne Street United Methodist Church, St. Marys, St. Marys Eagles 767,
past president and trustee, Celina Eagles 1291, Celina Moose, and the Celina American Legion Post 210.
Bob was
a fun loving person and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He had many hobbies, which included pitching
for the Friendly Tavern softball team, golfing, where he achieved a hole in one, bowling, cards and cooking. He also
had a great love for all sports, especially baseball. He will be missed by all.
Visitation hours will be
from 2-4 and 6-8 on Wednesday August 1, 2012 in Cisco Funeral Home of St. Marys, located at 1175 E. Greenville Rd. Funeral
services will be on Thursday at 10:30 A.M. in Wayne Street United Methodist Church, St. Marys, with Rev. Steve Weatherly,
officiating; where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial
Gardens, St. Marys, OH.
