Celina native Judith Ann Severs, 73, of Warren, Mich., died Dec. 22, 2007, at St. John Macomb Hospital, Warren.
She was born July 6, 1934, in Celina, to Kenneth and Aldora Bodkin Jamieson. Her husband, Ben Severs, died in November
2001.
Surviving are a son, Dennis (Lisa), Lenox, Mich.; and two sisters, Linda Poor and Jennifer Jamieson, both of Celina.
She retired from General Motors of Michigan. She was a 1952 graduate of Celina High School and a 50-year member of the
Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 91.
A memorial service is 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Robert Metheny officiating. Burial is at
Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with an Eastern Star service held prior at 9:45 a.m.

Ruel Harner, 92, 9944 Celina-Mendon Road, Celina, died Dec. 27, 2007, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
He was born June 27, 1915, in Center Township to Gail and Hazel Webb Harner. He was married to Eathyle Kuhn, who died April
20, 1973. He later married Margaret Dickey, who died Dec. 27, 1989.
Surviving are two daughters, June (Glen) Florence, Coldwater, and Kathy (Laverne) Wendel, Celina; a step-son, Eugene (Pat)
Dickey, Mendon; a step-daughter, Rosemary (Bob) Blessinger, Garrett, Ind.; two brothers, Glen (Kate), Mendon, and Herbert,
Celina; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Oreal; two sisters, Delores Buxton and Dorothy Manier; and one great-grandchild.
He was a retired farmer and attended Mt. Zion Methodist Church. He served as clerk and trustee for Center Township for
several years. He also served on the Center Township school board and was a 1933 graduate of Neptune High School.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Randy Christian officiating. Burial is at North
Grove Cemetery, Celina.

Clifford Mayes, 72, 539 N. Cherry St., Celina, died Jan. 1, 2008, at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was born Jan. 14, 1935, in Middleboro, Ky., to George "Dock" and Bobbie Marsee Mayes. On Oct. 15, 1955, he married Betty
Ayers, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Clifford L. (Debbie), Delphos; two daughters, Linda (Dale) Wilson, New Haven, Ind., and Debbie
(Everett) Stedham, Van Wert; two brothers, Joe (Sharon), Celina, and George Harvey (Jean) Mays, Fort Wayne; two sisters, Otsie
(Charles) Wilcox, Mount Vernon, Ill., and Evelyn Dennis, St. Marys; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Richard Troy and Thomas Sterling.
He retired from Goodrich of Woodburn, Ind. A U.S. veteran of the Marine Corps, he was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars,
Celina.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Robert Ellis officiating. Burial is at Mercer Memory
Gardens, Celina.

Robert "Bob" Sneddon, 78, 400 E. Warren St., Celina, died Dec. 26, 2007, at his residence.
He was born June 2, 1929, in Zanesville, to Buddy and Elizabeth Lane Sneddon. On Dec. 23, 1961, he married Helen Vorhees
who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Jeff (Deb) of Celina, Dan (Lana) of LaGrange, Ind., and Joe (Kathy) of Zanesville; three
daughters, Vicki Boatright and Lisa, both of Celina, and Becky Talbot, California; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He retired as a telephone contractor with Tom's Installation. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of the Fraternal
Order of Eagles, 1291, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, 5713, and the American Legion Post, 210, all of Celina.
Services are 7 p.m. Friday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Robert Ellis officiating. Military rites will follow.

Death was due to natural causes.
He was born March 29, 1953, in Coldwater, to Robert A. Sr. and Betty M. Stephens Jones, who survive in Celina.
Other survivors are three brothers, Robert A. Jr. (Bonnie), St. Marys, Jerrold W. (Mary Jane Prowthrow), of California,
and Charles S., Wapakoneta; and a sister, Cyndy (Ermon) Huston, Neptune.
He was a tool and die engineer at Fort Recovery Industries. He was a 1972 graduate of Celina High School, a 1974 graduate
of ITT Tech and a member of Montezuma Church of Christ.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Kevin Neuman officiating. Burial is at Mercer
Memory Gardens, Celina.

who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Ron (Cindy), Celina; two daughters, Jeanette (Henry) Johnson, Geneva, Ind., and Karen Kay (Gary
Leo) Hierholzer, Celina; three sisters, Marie (Richard) Skiles, Boise, Idaho, Josie Lee Baer, Van Nuys, Calif., and Dorothy
Alice Witten, Troy; and nine grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, John; and two sisters, Irene Borgart and Doris Ann Green.
He worked at the former Avco New Idea plant in Coldwater for 44 years. A 1956 graduate of Celina High School, he was retired
from the U.S. Air Force, serving in Turkey and San Antonio, Texas. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Mount Zion
United Methodist Church, both of Celina.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Bruce Strine officiating. Burial is at North Grove
Cemetery, Celina.

Yewey, who survives in Mendon.

Lampert, Anna; seven grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Harry E., and a sister, Mary Ellen Adams.
He had retired from Goodyear, St. Marys in 1979 after working as cost accountant. He was a graduate of the former Neptune
High and Giffin College, Van Wert.

Cemetery, Mendon.

survive in Oscada, Mich. His mother and stepfather, Alfred Knox, survive in Burton, Mich. On Feb. 14, 1997, he married Nancy
A. Broerman, who survives.
Other survivors are three daughters, Kere and Jere D., both of Flint, and, Kelly (Eric) Judkins, Davison, Mich.; a stepdaughter,
Robin (Gary) Ferrier, of Michigan; two brothers, Thomas (Stephanie) Beckett, Clio, Mich., and Dean (Sally) Bond, of Virginia;
a sister, Deana (Gary) Davis, Davison, Mich.; a stepbrother, Elwin (Kathy) Matthews, of Michigan; a half brother, John Bond,
of Michigan; two stepsisters, Lyda (Alfred) Williams and Carol (Larry) Pray, all of Michigan; two half sisters, Carla (Shane)
Johnson and Janice Murray, all of Michigan; and seven grandchildren.
Deceased is a stepson, Todd Walker; a stepsister, Judy Copus; and a stepmother, Cora Bond.
He was a retired construction worker.

He retired from Reynolds and Reynolds and the former Mersman Brothers Furniture Co., both of Celina. A U.S. Army veteran
of the Korean War, he was a member of American Legion Post 210, Celina.

Liza (Dan) Davis and Stefanie (Terry) Davis, all of Celina; a mother-in-law, Marjorie Cunningham, Celina; and three grandchildren.
He worked in maintenance at CW Service and Ottawa Oil. He was a 1972 graduate of Celina High School and a member of Bethany
United Methodist Church, Celina.
A memorial service will take place at a later date.

Gary E. VanTilburg, 66, of 1209 Indiana Ave., St. Marys, died at 4:37 p.m., in St. Rita's Medical Center,
Lima, of natural causes.
He was born July 20, 1941, in Mercer County, a son of Paul E. and Ethel J. (Behm) VanTilburg,
and they preceded him in death.
On Aug. 7, 1965, he married Mary E. (McDonough) VanTilburg, and she preceded him in death on March 9, 2005.
He is survived by three children, Gregory E. (Jenny) VanTilburg of St. Marys, Amy Joann (Jeffery) DeGeorge of Georgia,
and Terry L. (Kim) VanTilburg of Florida; a half brother, Jerry D. VanTilburg of Lima; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Larry L. VanTilburg.
He retired from Huffy's after 21 years of employment.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys, with the Rev. Emil
Shuwey CPPS officiating. The body will be cremated.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, at Cisco Funeral Home in St. Marys.

He was retired
from Goodyear and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Celina Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion,
as well as the Mercer County Sportsmans.

She was preceded in death by a grandmother, Chrstine Fields; and an uncle. Funeral services will be held at 10:30
a.m., Wednesday, at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, with the Revs. Mark Wakeland and Jason Springer officiating.

He retired after 38 years at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., St. Marys. A U.S. Army veteran, he was a member of the Veterans
of Foreign Wars Post 5713, Celina.

Hampton, Va.; two brothers, Dan, Los Angeles, and Keith, Bluffton, Ind.; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Deceased is a grandson.
He retired as a workshop director at Cheryl Ann Industries. A 1956 graduate of Celina High School, he attended Wright State
University. He was a member of Celina First Church of God, where he was an elder, Sunday school teacher, member of the worship
life board and a coach for the Bible quiz team.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Bruce Head officiating. Burial is at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.

Celina; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased is an infant child.
She was a seamstress. She also was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Celina, the Mercer County Genealogy Society,
the Ohio Genealogical Society, the Daughters of the Revolution, Ohio First Families and the Daughters of Union Veterans.

(Dale) Quellhorst, St. Marys, and Clara Beougher, Rockford; four grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren and seven stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased is a stepson, Norbert Everman; two brothers, John and Don Bruns; and three sisters, Martha Young, Ruth McMahan
and Helen Pearson.
She was retired from Overton Gear of Illinois. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 210 and Veterans of Foreign
Wars Auxiliary Post 5713, both of Celina.
