Young Bray and Joseph Bray, was stillborn Friday at University of Louisville Hospital. Besides his parents, he is survived
by grandparents: Joe and Tracy Bray of Campbellsville and Dennis and Carolyn Young of Greensburg, and great-grandmothers:
Sue Bray of Knifley and Helen Dial of Greensburg. He is also survived by aunts: Katelyn Bray of Campbellsville
and Kasey and Heather Young of Greensburg. He is preceded in death by grandparents: Howard and Etta Overstreet
and Buford Dial, great-grandparents: William Bray and Harry and Katherine Young and cousin: Briley Jones.
A funeral service will be conducted 2 P.M. Central Time Monday afternoon at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg
with Rev.. Kerry Yates officiating. Burial will follow in the Haven Hill Cemetery in Columbia. Friends may

Jeff Adkins was born August 23, 1973 in Green County, KY.,
to Barbara Lovins Adkins and the late Jerry Adkins. He departed this life Thursday, January 14, 2010, having attained
the age of thirty-six years, four months and twenty-two days.
Mr. Adkins had made a profession of faith in Christ
and was of the Methodist faith, and he worked as a handyman.
He is survived by three sons: Nathen Tyler, Daniel
Thompson, and Jeffery Adkins, Jr., all of Cutler, Illinois. He is also survived by two sisters: Vicky Anderson (Todd)
and Kerry Adkins both of Greensburg, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Dorothy Jean Shaw, age 78 formerly of Franklin, Indiana passed
away Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Campbellsville Retirement Home in Taylor County. She was born November 19, 1931 in
Indiana to the late John and Mattie (Cannon) Helms. She was married to Edward Shaw, who preceded her in death December
8, 1986.
She is survived by two sons, Charles "Chuck" Shaw of Campbellsville, Ky., and Donald "Donnie"
Shaw of Franklin, Ind., four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Faye McDonald of Franklin and Mae
Murray of Franklin. Besides her parents, and her husband she was preceded in death by one sister Villa Helms.
Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Jean Shaw will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 15, 2010 at Flinn and
Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, in Franklin, Ind. Friends may call on Friday, January 15th from 11:00
A.M. to the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, Ind.

Bessie Davis Anderson was born on April 4, 1916 in Green County
to the late Flora Greene Penick and Robert Wilson Anderson. She was the third oldest of eight children. Early
Monday morning at the Taylor Regional Hospital, God saw fit to call Bessie home. She professed hope in Christ at an
early age and united with the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Greensburg, Kentucky. At her death, she was the oldest member
of the church.
She served as a member of the culinary committee, was a member of the Usher Board, a member of the
Missionary Society, sang with the Mothers' Board Choir, and a former member of the NAACP.
Bessie Davis Anderson
united in marriage to Harvey Anderson on December 13, 1936. They were married for seventy years and eleven months.
He preceded her in death on November 17, 2007. Bessie was an extremely hard worker. She labored in the fields
and milk barn, alongside her husband. Her hobbies were gardening, nurturing many different kinds of plants and piecing
quilts.
She was fondly known as "Aunt Bessie" to many but as "Bunt" to her sisters and brothers.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Mattie Louise Groves and four brothers, Jim Alonzo,
Carl Ellis, Lucian Farris and Willie Fred.
She leaves to mourn her passing two sisters: Ruth (Fields) Anderson,
Christine Mitchell, all of Greensburg, KY, one sister-in-law, Ida Cleo Curry, and one brother-in-law, Fred David (Christell)
Anderson, all of Louisville, KY. Also, she leaves a host of nieces and nephews, including two devoted nieces, Peggy
and Diane Anderson of Campbellsville and a devoted nephew, Rudolphus (Doc) Anderson of Louisville, KY and many cousins, friends
and acquaintances.

and one day.
Mr. Meadows had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Little Barren Baptist
Church. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death October 2, 2001 by his wife Crystal Allene Rogers Meadows. He
is also preceded in death by one son: Danny Dale Meadows, three brothers and two sisters: Carl, Coy, Luther,
Gertrude and Maydale Meadows.
He is survived by two sons: James and Don Meadowsof Greensburg, Ky. and three daughters:
Gertrude Davis, Pam Johnson and Barbara Young, all of Greensburg, Ky., fifteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren
and one great great grandchild, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Cross had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, Greensburg,
Ky. She is preceded in death by one son: Lewis Bloyd and two brothers: William Boyd Despain and Russell
Despain.
She is survived by three sons: Vernon "Duck" Bloyd and David Buley of Mt. Sherman, Ky.
and Hugh Bloyd of Louisville, Ky. and one daughter: Sheila M. Buley of Louisville, Ky. She is also survived by
one brother: Shively Despain of Florida. She was loved and supported by her 1st grandchild and her husband:
Lori and Darrell Cox and their children: Jodi and Desteny. Also surviving are a host of grandchildren, great
grandchildren , plus other relatives and friends.
