MSG (Ret.) Harry E. Keller

MSG (Ret.) Harry E. Keller, age 86, Ekron, KY, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at the Wise Regional Health Center in Decatur, TX.  MSG Keller was an Army veteran of World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry A. and Enola Bernard Keller, his wife, Fannie Myrtle Moore Keller, a daughter, Margaret Silling and 2 sisters, Ethel mire and Katie Richard.  MSG Keller was father to Evelyn "Teenie" O'Berry, Vracey, VA, and Vivian Ross, Oscoda, MI.  He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  He was a wonderful and caring husband, father, grandfather and uncle as well as a friend to everyone he knew.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 19, 2010, from the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with burial in the Ft. Knox Main Post Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4-8 PM on Thursday and after 9 AM on Friday.

Mrs. Alien Jean Jutz, age 64, Vine Grove, KY, died Sunday, March 7, 2010, at her residence.  Mrs. Jutz was preceded in death by a son, Eric Shepherd.  She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Freddie Jutz, Vine Grove, KY, 5 children, Patsy (Doug) Sego, Tanya Baker, both of Louisville, KY, Billy (Joyce) Tubbs, Jason (Kim) Tubbs, Jackie (Ann) Shepherd, all of Vine Grove, KY, 17 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, from the Jutz Family Cemetery, Vine Grove, KY.  Visitation will be held at Hager Funeral Home, Brandenburg, KY, from 2-9 PM on Tuesday.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the family in care of the funeral home.

Mildred L. Morris

Mrs. Mildred L. Morris, age 90, Brandenburg, KY, passed away, Monday, March 8, 2010, at her home following many months of declining health. 

She was born in Breckinridge County on May 7, 1919, the daughter of Walter and Beulah Harper Mattingly.  She was a homemaker, retired from Civil Service at Fort Knox and a member of the Catholic faith.

On April 14, 1937, she married Robert L. Morris who preceded her in death on August 30, 1968.  Also preceding her were her parents, a son, Guy Carter, a daughter, Jean Thompson, a grandson, Clancy Morris and a granddaughter, Kelly Watts.

Mrs. Morris is survived by four sons and daughters in law, Robert F. Morris, Brandenburg, KY, Clarence Morris, Henderson, KY, Alfred and Trish Morris, Marietta, GA, David Morris, Foley, AL, seven daughters and sons in law, John and Ruth Ann Watts, Robinson, IL, Doris Haynes, Henderson, KY, Dave and Margie Hagan, San Antonio, TX, Mike and Patty Robinson, Elizabethtown, KY, Martha Beasley and friend Paul Nunley, Garfield, KY, Sandy Drury, Mt. Washington, KY and Debbie Fox and friend, Tommy Drury, Mt. Washington, KY, a brother, Willis and Betty Ruth Mattingly, Rowlett, TX, two half brothers, Joe Martin and Jimmy and Madge Martin, Owensboro, KY, and four half sisters, Shirley Carpenter, Taft, CA and Den and Aliene Morris, Ruby McCarthy and Linda Blanton, all of Owensboro, KY, twenty eight grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.  Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, from the Chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Dr. Billy D. Marcum, officiating.

Visitation will be from 5-8 PM on Tuesday and after 9 AM on Wednesday from the chapel of the funeral home.

Mr. Robert Garland Williams, Brandenburg, KY, died Thursday, March 4, 2010, in Ottawa, OH.  He was preceded in death by 3 Brothers, Carl Albert, Buddy and Walter Williams and 3 Sisters, Margie and Betty Williams and Marie Richardson.  Mr. Williams is survived by a Brother, Floyd Williams, Brandenburg, KY, a Sister, Norma Rowley, Pflugerville, TX, a Brother-in-law, Robert Richardson, Brandenburg, KY, his special niece and caretaker, Mary Ann McLemore, Brandenburg, KY and several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.  Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, from the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with burial in Garnettsville Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2-8 PM on Saturday and after 9 AM on Sunday from the chapel of the funeral home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the WHAS Crusade for Children.
