The Powers-Priebe Funeral Home in Crawfordsville was originally built as a Victorian style family
home in 1887. It was a family home, doctor’s office and lastly a funeral home. As a funeral borne the building originally
had one chapel. A second larger chapel was built which now serves as a visitation and funeral service area. The original chapel
now serves mainly as a viewing/visitaton area. We have a small lounge for food and drinks, a handicap bathroom, we are wheelchair
accessible and can seat approximately 175 people. We are also a smoke free facility.
Our New Market funeral home was built in the late 1970's. It is all on one level, handicap equipped,
and can seat approximately 100 people. That facility is also smoke free.
