IN MEMORY OF Clyde Dale Bierman
|
Clyde Dale Bierman., age 77, of Centralia, Illinois, entered
into rest at 2:33 A.M. on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at St. Marys Good Samaritan Hospital in Centralia, Illinois. He was born
on April 17, 1932 in Clinton County, Illinois west of Centralia, the son of William Ralph and Ella Louise Herminah (Raeth)
Bierman. He married Barbara Carolyn Davenport on February 5, 1955 at the Methodist Church in Carlyle, Illinois and she
survives in rural Centralia, Illinois.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Bierman is survived by 2 sons David R. Bierman
and special friend Becky Pate of Walnut Hill, Illinois and Tim E. Bierman and wife Sarah of Centralia, Illinois, 3 daughters Sheryl L. Beck and special friend Lonnie Tudor of Centralia, Illinois, Diane L. Graham and husband Greg of Aurora,
Illinois and Linda R. Bailey and husband Todd of Browns, Illinois, 1 sister Florence Roberts of Walnut Hill, Illinois, 14
grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
Mr. Bierman was preceded in death by his
parents, infant son Alan Dale Bierman on June 11, 1955, 1 brother Ralph W. Bierman, 3 sisters Berniece Mifflin, Bertha
McCarrey, and Mary Beckmeyer.
Mr. Bierman was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints in Centralia, Illinois and
served as a Branch President, Records Clerk, Member Clerk and Auditor. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 3 years
during the Korean Conflict. While in the military service, he attended the military police school, was an aide to the
camp and then an aide to a 4 star general and obtained the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was a former member of the American
Legion Post in Bluford, Illinois. He was a member of the Teamster's Union. He enjoyed race car driving as
well as watching Nascar and stock car racing. He enjoyed being out in his garden, He coached Little League football
and assisted the Boy Scouts with their Pinewood Derby. He lived all of his life in Centralia, Illinois except for the
short time he lived in Carlyle, Illinois after marrying his wife, Barbara. He will be remembered by his family and friends
for the many good deeds he performed as well as his willingness to help others.
Mr. Bierman was a school bus driver
with West Bus Services for the last 28 years and drove the Richview/Irvington High School bus route. In 2008, he was
presented with the "Above and Beyond Award" by the school district for his driving abilities and dedication to the
safe transport of these students. Later in life, he ran a lawnmower repair and sales business at his home. He
previously was a truck driver and drove for Coca-Cola Company, Royal Crown Cola and later drove for McLean Trucking Company.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter
Day Saints in Centralia, Illinois with Bishop Eugene McAdoo officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park
in Centralia, Illinois with Military rites accorded by the American Legion Post # 446 and V.F.W. Post # 2055. Friends
may call from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at the Styninger Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Bierman's honor to the charity of donor's choice and will be received at
the Styninger Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois.

Wanda Ross Zink, 87 of Centralia passed away at 10:05
p.m. on Monday, March 8th at Centralia Manor. She was born on March 28, 1922 in Centralia the daughter of Rufus Whittaker
and Ethel Metcalf Ross. She married Orvel E. "Butch" Zink on April 23, 1942 in St. Louis and he passed away
on November 7, 2005. Also preceding her in death were a sister; Elinor Ross Meharry.
Left to mourn her passing
are a sister in law; Bernice Gregory of Irvington. 3 nephews; Tim Meharry, Ted Meharry and Jerry Norton. 3 nieces;
Melissa Meharry, Betty Jean Norton and Lynda Avery.
Mrs. Zink worked for many years at her families Ross Flower
Shop in Centralia and in later years at Alcorn Shoe Shop in Centralia. She was a member of the First United Methodist
Church in Centralia, She enjoyed playing the organ, bird watching and her pets. She and her late husband were avid dancers
and she especially loved her nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March
11th in the chapel of the Styninger Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial
Park. Friends may call one hour prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may
be made to the Centralia Humane Society.

Thomas L. Russell, age 91, of Irvington, Illinois, passed
away at 5:35 P.M. on Monday, March 8, 2010 at Centralia Fireside House in Centralia, Illinois. He was born on June 23, 1918
in Washington County, Illinois, the son of Thomas B. and Carrie (Randall) Russell. He married Dorothy F. Newcomb on April
12, 1950 at the Irvington Methodist Parsonage by Reverend James Owens and she survives in Irvington, Illinois.
In
addition to his wife, Mr. Russell is survived 1 son Les Russell and wife Margie of Richview, Illinois, 1 daughter, Janet Bigley
and husband Steven of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, 3 grandchildren Lisa Forehand and friend L.D. Forehand, Craig Russell and wife
Liz and Becky Russell, 2 great grandchildren Rachael Forehand and Zachary Thomas Russell, 3 brothers Gene Russell and wife
Betty of Richview, Illinois, Gerald Russell and wife Louise of Mount Vernon, Illinois, and Don Russell and wife Nancy of Richview,
Illinois, 3 sisters Lorraine Pitchford and husband Lester of Richview, Illinois, Phyllis Mitchell of Richview, Illinois, and
Marilyn Besancenez and husband Bob of Largo, Florida, 2 sisters-in-law Helen Johnson and husband Bill of Sun City, Arizona
and Ethel Bailey of Beardstown, Illinois and survived by many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
Mr.
Russell was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother Stanley Russell, 1 sister Betty Russell and 1 brother-in-law Don Mitchell.
Mr. Russell was a member of the United Methodist Church in Irvington. He was ordained a Baptist Deacon
on November 30, 1958 and taught Sunday School for most of his life as well as teaching Senior Adult Class and was a song leader.
He was a member of the Washington County Board for 12 years and the Irvington Ruritan Club. He was a board member of the Tri-County
Electric Co-Op in Mount Vernon, Illinois. He enjoyed fishing, hunting for quail, rabbits and mushrooms, and gardening
produce such as sweet corn and strawberries that he gave away to friends or sold at the local markets. He enjoyed watching
his baseball especially the Saint Louis Cardinals. He enjoyed the times he spent with the people in the community and
passing out gum to those around him. He especially enjoyed the time he spent with his family and grandchildren.
He lived most of his life in Irvington, Illinois except for the last year he lived his life in Centralia, Illinois.
Mr. Russell retired as a farmer in 1982 after 50 years in the field. Earlier in life, he clerked sales for his father
at auctions.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Styninger Queen-Boggs
Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois with Pastor Bruce Gordon officiating. Interment will follow in Richview Cemetery in Richview,
Illinois. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, March 12, 2010 at the Styninger Queen-Boggs Funeral Home

Jacqueline "Jackie" Thalman, age 81, of Centralia,
Illinois, passed away at 1:50 A.M. on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Odin Healthcare Center in Odin, Illinois. She was born
on February 18, 1929 in Alpha, Illinois, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Adams-Zimmerman. She married Carl Thalman
on December 20, 1947 in Centralia, Illinois and he survives in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
In addition to her husband,
Mrs. Thalman is survived 1 son Kenny Thalman and wife Judy of Centralia, Illinois, 2 daughters Carolyn Miller and husband
Calvin of Mountain Home, Idaho and Lori Parker and husband Erik of Albers, Illinois, one brother Robert Zimmerman and
wife of Lola of Hoffman, Illinois, 2 sisters Joyce Zimmerman of Fairin, Illinois and Judy DeBoard of Centralia, Illinois,
4 grandchildren Jeff Davis of Satellite Beach, Florida, Nicole Moore and husband Brent of Valdosta, Georgia, Jason Thalman
and wife Sonia of DuVall, Washington and Amanda Schultz and husband Bill of Mountain Home, Idaho, 4 great grandchildren
Zachary Brenton Moore and Taylor "Cole" Moore of Valdosta, Georgia, Caroline Sue Anne Schultz and Emily Katharine
Schultz of Mountain Home, Idaho and also survived by nephews and nieces.
Mrs. Thalman was preceded in death by
her parents, 3 brothers James "Jimmy" Zimmerman, Richard Zimmerman and Larry Zimmerman and I great grandson William
Calvin Schultz. Mrs. Thalman was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Centralia, Illinois where she
was a member of the Friendship Guild. She was a graduated from Sandoval High School in 1947. She loved painting,
fishing and camping. She lived most of her life in Centralia, Illinois.
Mrs. Thalman, along with her husband
Carl, owned and operated Ross Flower Shop in Centralia, Illinois from 1959 until her retirement in 1982 and then continued
to help part-time at the shop.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 11:00 A.M.
at the Styninger Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois with Pastor Perry Schefelker and Pastor Mark Girardin officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia, Illinois. Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on

Dorris Leon "D.L." Dillow, age 87, of Centralia,
Illinois, passed away at 7:05 A.M. on Monday, February 8, 2010 at Centralia Manor in Centralia, Illinois. He was born on February
22, 1922 in Wamac, Illinois, the son of Everett Lee and Chloa (Cover) Dillow. He married Geraldine Bean on January 1,
1942 in Jackson, Missouri and she survives in Centralia, Illinois.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Dillow is survived
1 son David Dillow of New Baden, Illinois, 2 daughters Patricia Dillow of Centralia, Illinois and Kathy Tucker and husband
Lee of Centralia, Illinois and 1 cherished granddaughter Allyna Tucker of Centralia, Illinois.
Mr. Dillow was preceded
in death by his parents and son Michael Dillow in 1961. Mr. Dillow was a friend of the congregation of the
Orchardville Church in Centralia, Illinois and a member of the Faith United Methodist Church in Wamac, Illinois. He
was a member of the Centralia Masonic Lodge # 201 and was a 32 degree mason. He enjoyed attending auction sales and
collecting pens and coins. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post # 2055 and a former member of the American Legion
Post # 446. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during World War II from April 24, 1944 to January 24, 1946 and
was stationed on the Russell Islands where he earned his Victory Medal. He has lived in Centralia, Illinois for most of his
life. He was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his family especially his granddaughter.
Mr.
Dillow began his career with the Illinois Central Railroad as a boilermaker apprentice in 1941 and upon completion of his
apprenticeship he became a boilermaker. He was then promoted to division boiler foreman and traveled many miles between
St. Louis, Missouri and Iowa. He then returned to the roundhouse to work in the cars shop department as production foreman
and worked on Illinois Central steam engines that included Engine 2500 in Centralia, Illinois. He retired in 1982 as
production foreman for the Illinois Central Railroad.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010
at 11:00 A.M. at the Hillcrest Memorial Park with Pastor Mark Shell and Pastor Steve Upchurch officiating. Those attending
the services are asked to go directly to the cemetery on Friday. Interment will follow in the cemetery with military rites
accorded by the Centralia V.F.W. Post # 2055 and American Legion Post # 446. Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at the Styninger Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois. Memorial contributions

Cheryl Lizabeth Thimmig, 64 of Nashville, passed away
at 4:05 p.m. on Sunday, February 7th at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She was born on February 3, 1946 in Christopher,
Illinois the daughter of Milton H. and Helen M. Sanders Graham. She married Robert Thomas Thimmig on September 25, 1968
in Carbondale and he survives in Nashville. Also surviving are a daughter; Amy (Stephen) Barton of Mt. Vernon, 2 grandchildren;
Avery and Josephine Barton. A sister; Gilda (Larry) Hofbauer of Vancouver, WA and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Thimmig was a 1964 graduate of DuQuoin High School and received
her Associates Degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. She retired as a teller at the First National
Bank in Pinckneyville and the Nashville Savings Bank. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Nashville where
she was active in the AWANA youth program and the adult women's Sunday school class.
Funeral services will
be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 11th at the Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville with Rev. Scott Sharp officiating.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions

Lawrence Joseph "Larry" Lusch, age 80, of Centralia,
Illinois, passed away at 6:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at St. Marys Good Samaritan Hospital in Centralia, Illinois.
He was born on August 18, 1929 in Centralia, Illinois, the son of Joseph S. and Ruth (Spitler) Lusch. He was first married
to Irene Gomez Lusch and they later divorced. He then married Janet Marie Hensler on July 1, 1966 in Shawneetown, Illinois
and she survives in Centralia, Illinois.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Lusch is survived 3 sons Larry Ray Lusch
of San Antonio, Texas, Ricky Lusch of San Antonio, Texas and Randal Lusch of San Antonio, Texas, 2 daughters Roxanne of San
Antonio, Texas and Lisa Davis and husband Jerry of San Antonio, Texas, 1 sister Joan Boyles and husband Harold of Salem, Illinois,
1 nephew Kent Boyles of Salem, Illinois, Father-in-law and Mother-in-law Carl Bare and Violet Bare of Centralia, Illinois,
6 grandchildren and several cousins.
Mr. Lusch was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Lusch
was a friend of the congregation of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Centralia, Illinois for 43 years. He volunteered
at the Evergreen Outreach and Partners in Reading in Vandalia, Illinois for 15 years. He became an amateur circus historian
later in life. He enjoyed camping, traveling, and playing pinochle and dominoes with his wife and friends.
He was a former member of the Vandalia American Legion Post # 95. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving from
August 22, 1949 until January 14, 1953. He received an Associate in General Education from Kaskaskia College in Centralia,
Illinois. He has lived in Centralia, Illinois for most of his life except for the 15 years he lived in Vandalia, Illinois.
Mr. Lusch retired in 1992 as a caseworker from the Marion County Department of Human Services in Centralia, Illinois
after 17 years of service. He previously was a mechanic.
As per Mr. Lusch's wishes, he will be cremated
and there will be no services at this time. Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Lusch's honor to the Lutheran
Church of the Redeemer in Centralia, Illinois and will be received at the Styninger Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia,
Illinois.

John J. Corrigan, Jr.

John J. Corrigan, Jr., age 60, of Centralia, Illinois, passed
away at 12:10 P.M. on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri. He was born on June 16,
1949 in Ottawa, Illinois, the son of John Joseph and Rhonda Anna (VanDorn) Corrigan. He was first married to Linda Corrigan
and they later divorced. He then married Gayla Beckmeyer on September 3, 1999 in Las Vegas, Nevada and she survives
in Centralia, Illinois.
In addition to his wife, Gayla Corrigan, he raised his stepson Matthew Meyer of Irvington,
Illinois and raised his first wife's three children Chris, Jeff and Angie. He was also survived by 4 grandchildren,
foster mother Agnes Gordon of O'Dell, Illinois and foster sister Barbara of O'Dell, Illinois.
Mr. Corrigan
was preceded in death by his parents and foster father Roger Gordon. Mr. Corrigan attended the Friedens United
Church of Christ in Irvington, Illinois and was a member of the Zion Evangelical United Church of Christ in Hoyleton, Illinois.
He was a member of the American Legion Post # 446, Veteran of Foreign Wars Post # 2055 and Vietnam Veteran of America.
He is an U.S. Marine who served during the Vietnam Conflict from February 27, 1969 until August 24, 1970 and received the
Purple Heart Medal. He graduated from Boys Town Nebraska in 1968 where he participated in various programs of sports.
He was the founder of the Illinois Chapter of Boys Town. He has lived in Centralia, Illinois for most of his life.
He also took Corrections and Law enforcement classes through Kaskaskia College and the Illinois State Police Academy.
Mr. Corrigan retired in December of 2001 as Shift Commander from the Centralia Correctional Center after 21 years of service.
He was also a shift commander for the Logan Correctional Center for 2 years and advanced from Correctional officer to Correctional
Lieutenant during his employment with the Pontiac Correctional Center from January 1972 until December of 1975..
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the Friedens United Church of Christ in Irvington,
Illinois with Pastor Stacy Tate and Pastor Pamela Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Evangelical Church of
Christ Cemetery in Hoyleton, Illinois with military rites accorded by the V.F.W. Post # 2055 and American Legion Post # 446.
Friends may call on Wednesday, January 6, 2010, from 4:30 to 7:00 P.M. at the Styninger Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia,

A.M. on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at St. Marys Good Samaritan Hospital in Centralia, Illinois. She was born on August
10, 1924 in Centralia, Illinois, the daughter of William and Ella L. (Reath) Bierman. She married Raymond Edward Beckmeyer
on April 18, 1943 in Saint Louis, Missouri and he preceded her in death on December 4, 1995.
Mrs. Beckmeyer is
survived by 1 son Russell R. Beckmeyer and wife Margy of Aiken, South Carolina, 1 daughter Ruth Ann Branch and husband Bobby
of Centralia, Illinois, 3 grandchildren Kristin Beckmeyer, Megan Mebane and husband Frank and Keegan Beckmeyer, 1 brother
Clyde Bierman and wife Barbara of Centralia, Illinois, 1 sister Florence Roberts of Walnut Hill, Illinois and numerous nephews
and nieces.
Mrs. Beckmeyer was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond Edward Beckmeyer, son James Raymond
Beckmeyer, 1 brother Ralph Bierman and 2 sisters Bernice Mifflin and Bertha McCarrey.
Mrs. Beckmeyer was a member
of the Friedens United Church of Christ in Irvington, Illinois and was a member of the Women's Guild. She was also a member
of the Irvington Women's Club, Washington County Home Extension and Prime Timers in Washington County, Illinois.
She was a sweet lady who touched the lives of everyone that she met. She lived all her life in Centralia, Illinois.
Mrs. Beckmeyer was a homemaker and helped her husband on the family farm. She along with her husband Raymond
was a custodian at the Friedens United Church of Church.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. on Monday, January
4, 2010 at the Friedens United Church of Christ in Irvington, Illinois with Pastor Stacey Tate officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia, Illinois. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00
P.M. on Sunday, January 2, 2010 at the Styninger Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois and from 10:00 A.M. until

Lilly Anna Emma Eickmeyer, 94 of New Minden, passed
away at 10:57 a.m. on Saturday, November 21st at the Washington County Hospital in Nashville. She was born on October
28, 1915 in Hoyleton to August and Emma Obermeier Kroeger. She was baptized on November 17, 1915 at her home by Pastor
Alfred Fuehler and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoyleton on March 24, 1929.
She married Walter Eickmeyer
on December 6, 1936 at Trinity Church in Hoyleton and he passed away on March 6, 1979. Also preceding her in death were
her parents, a brother; Richard Kroeger, a sister; Ella Rebstock, son in law; Clarence Meier, sister in law; Anna Kroeger,
brother in law; Alfred Lueking and a grandson; Jack Cross.
Left to mourn her passing are 2 daughters; Carolyn Meier
and Grace (Carl) Schuette both of New Minden, a sister; Mildred Lueking of Hoyleton, brother in law; Adolph Rebstock of Centralia
and sister in law; Leona Wilson of Wood River. 6 grandchildren; Candy Cross, Cindy (Trey) Furling, Pam (Ron) Morrison,
Cory (Shelby) Meier, Chris Meier and Jackie (Rick) McDaniel, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, nieces nephews
and friends.
Mrs. Eickmeyer and her husband farmed in rural Hoyleton until his death at which time she moved to
New Minden. She was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in New Minden. She was a volunteer quilter
for the Ladies Aid of the church and worked at the Lutheran Blind Mission Braile work center.
Funeral services
will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 24th at the St. John's Lutheran Church in New Minden with Rev. Timothy
Mueller officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until service
time on Tuesday at the church. Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions
may be made to the St. John's Building Fund or a memorial of the donor's choice.

Richard Lee Boatright, Age 71, Sandoval, Illinois, died
12:55 A.M. on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at St. Marys Good Samaritan Hospital in Centralia, Illinois. He was born on
July 24, 1938, the son of Orville and Edna Mae (McConnell) Boatright.
Mr. Boatright is survived by 2 brothers William Boatright and wife Maryann of Chicago, Illinois and David Boatright and
wife Darlene of Sandoval, Illinois, 2 sisters Ruby Hilton of Centralia, Illinois and Betty Boatright of Centralia, Illinois
and also survived by 3 nieces and 5 nephews.
Mr. Boatright was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother James
Boatright and brother-in-law Ray Hilton.
Mr. Boatright was of the Christian Faith. He enjoyed the time he
spent with his family and friends. He has lived all of his life in Sandoval, Illinois.
Mr. Boatright retired in
1994 as a metal assorter for the White Salvage Yard in Centralia, Illinois

follow in the Sandoval Cemetery in Sandoval, Illinois. Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 22,
2009 at the Boggs Chapel in the Styninger-Pacey Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois. Memorials may be made in Mr. Boatright's
honor to the American Diabetes Association and will be received at the Styninger-Pacey Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois.
