Styninger Funeral Home's Payment Policy *
During
the arrangement conference, many important decisions are made regarding services and merchandise. Typically payment for selections
is due prior to the funeral or memorial service. As a convenience to you, we will advance cash on your behalf for services
you request, such as death certificates, honorariums, necessary government permits, etc. Payment for these cash advances is
due at time of arrangements. All other services and merchandise must be paid prior to services or guaranteed by insurance
assignment or Personal Finance Company.
In order to
provide you with financial flexibility we offer all our families the following payment options to satisfy the financial obligations
prior to services:
- Prepaid
Funeral Arrangements.
- Cash
(if paid by day of funeral, a 2.5% discount will be given on the funeral home portion of the Statement of Funeral Goods and
Services).
- Check (if paid
by day of funeral, a 2.5% discount will be given on the funeral home portion of the Statement of Funeral Goods and Services).
- Insurance Assignment (Once an insurance policy is verified,
the funeral expenses can be paid with insurance proceeds that are processed through American Capitol Funding - there is a
2 ½ % surcharge on this insurance service.
- Credit Cards (American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover) (Unfortunately, we are not able
to extend a time of service discount on a credit card since there is service charge to the funeral home for accepting the
credit as form of payment).
- Financing
Made Available through Personal Finance Company (Call funeral home).
Due
to the complexity and time involved we are unable to accept payments from estates.
