Jim Cash founded Southern Realty in 1999 - having learned the real estate business as a Century 21 agent. Jim has always had an independent nature that led him to obtain his Broker’s license and start an agency from the ground floor up with the philosophy of treating our customers the way Jim himself would want to be treated.

We currently have seven licensed agents, and our company has grown to compete with the big players yet retain the personal touch of a small business.  Jim's people skills were learned and tested during his many years dealing with the public at large in a police uniform.  Some of those same skills of diplomacy, salesmanship, and communicating with people in varied situations have greatly aided his work as a Realtor.  Jim remains keenly aware that buying and selling a house can be a very emotional and often times stressful experience for many people.

Southern Realty’s philosophy is simply to understand the customers wants, needs, and our desire is to do everything possible to satisfy each of them completely. A sale is a good thing. Making a trusting friend is better. Any good Realtor knows it the second time customer transaction or the customer who comes in the door through word-of-mouth advertising that truly indicates a satisfying transaction.
