THE TRENT-DOWELL
FUNERAL HOME is a full service funeral home. Funeral services and merchandise can be selected in advance or at the time of
need at one location. Traditional or non-traditional funeral rituals may be selected.
TRADITIONAL FUNERAL SERVICES would include, but not limited to,
items such as, services of the funeral director and staff, embalming, viewing, conducting an evening visitation and
funeral ceremony next day or same day visitation and funeral. NON-TRADITIONAL FUNERAL SERVICES may
include, but not limited to, services of the funeral director and staff, arranging for cremation and conducting a memorial
funeral service at the funeral home or other location. Click on our "cremation services" side link for more
information about our cremation plans. Also, non-traditional funeral services may include immediate burials or graveside
services. TRADITIONAL AND NON-TRADITIONAL SERVICES may be selected together. For example, the
traditional embalming, viewing, visitation and funeral ceremony can be conducted, but instead of earth burial or entombment,
cremation can be performed as an alternative. Our staff can explain these and other options that are available to you.
CASH ADVANCE ITEMS are contracted services
from agencies other than the funeral home that are paid before services are rendered on your behalf. Our staff
can arrange for these services which include, but are not limited to, opening and closing of the grave, performing of the
cremation process, selecting and arranging of flowers and clergy honorariums.
THE
SERVICES we provide to conduct a funeral, any merchandise selected and cash advance items are listed individually
on our goods and services statement as required by law and as a convenience to the family.
ADDITIONAL ITEMS are the register book, acknowledgement cards,
special interest emblems, religious symbols, wood framed flag cases and several other items to choose from.
FOR THE VETERANS, we can arrange for a military burial
rite to be performed. A pass and review ceremony is conducted at the funeral home with the playing of Taps and the presentation
of the Americn Flag at the cemetery.
PRE-ARRANGED FUNERAL SERVICES can be made in our office and vital statistics information can be registered with us,
in advance, by using the form provided found on the "pre-arranging" page of this website. Secured funeral funding
plans are available to choose from in order to help offset future increases in funeral costs.
OUR DIRECTORS will provide for the family a General Price List,
Casket Price List, Outer Burial Container Price List and Cremation Price List as required by law and a director will
explain each item. Charges will be made only for those items chosen by the family. Our Directors will assist the
family in the filing of insurance claims, government forms and obtaining veterans benefits, including veterans grave markers
and American Flags.

GOAL of our family at the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home is to help families plan a funeral with services and merchandise
at reasonable costs, while presenting a high standard of professionalism and above all, to add a "personal
touch" to the funeral for every family we serve during their time of need.
