Mary J. Curtis, age 97 of Louisville, Ky died Thursday, July
22, 2010. She was born in Breckinridge County on February 25, 1913, the daughter of the late Everett and Josephine Allen Minter.
Mary was a member of Constantine United Methodist Church and retired from Reynolds Metals.
She was preceded in
death by her husband of 51 years Alfred Curtis.
Surviving are 6 nieces and nephews: William, Paul and Michael Minter,
Carolyn Mozdzen, Shirley Tremple and Geneva Bruce, who was her loving caregiver.
Funeral services will be held
on Monday, July 26, 2010 at 2 PM EDT at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg, KY with burial in the Custer Cemetery. Visitation
on Sunday, 4:30 - 9:00 PM EDT and Monday after 9:30 AM EDT

Anna F. Kiper, 81, most recently of Colfax, IL passed
away at 11:58 am July 18, 2010 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
Visitation will be held from 6-8:00pm
on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax. Funeral
will be at 8:00pm also on Wednesday at the funeral home. Pastor Dan Jassman will be officiating.
A second
visitation will be held from 9-11:00am on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Calvert Community Church in McDaniel, KY. Funeral will be at 11:00am on Saturday at the Church. Burial
will be in Calvert Community Church Cemetery.
Anna was born July 26, 1928 in Roff, KY the daughter of Sidney and
Eva Mae Tucker Saddler. She married Edgar F. Kiper on August 2, 1943. Anna leaves behind her loving husband of 66 years and five children; Edgar F. Kiper , Jr of Hudson,
KY, James (Nancy) Kiper of Colfax, Barbara (Gary) Spurling of Bloomington, Thomas (Sharon) Kiper of Leitchfiled, KY and Brenda
(Mike) Morgan of Gridley, Daughter-In-Law, Marilyn Kiper of Vine Grove, KY; grandchildren, Eric (Lynn) Kiper, Christy (Berry)
Gilbert, Heather (Greg) Hack, Renatta McConnell and Stephanie Kiper all of Kentucky, Angela Snyder of Rockford, Amy Veach
of Atlanta, Harley Morgan of Gridley, Knute and Kolby Morgan of Bloomington, and Travis Waterman of Colfax; 12 great-grandchildren. Anna was preceded in death by her parents and one son Robert W. Kiper.
She worked as a CNA in several nursing homes while she lived in Kentucky. She was a member of Calvert Community
Church, McDaniel, KY where she was a Sunday school teacher.
Anna loved quilting, her garden and canning all the
vegetables that came from it. She was devoted and loved her God, her church and most of all her husband, children, grandchildren
and great-grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to Colfax Christian Church, Eastern McLean
County Ambulance Association, or Calvert Community Church, KY.

IN MEMORY OF: Wilbur
Wardrip

Wilbur Wardrip, age 86 of Russellville, KY and formerly of
Hardinsburg, KY died Monday, July 19, 2010 at Creekwood Nursing Home. He was born in Breckinridge County on April 8, 1924,
the son of the late Reece and Eltie Duke Wardrip. He retired from Keller Furniture, was a former employee of Finley's
Dairy and was a farmer. He was a member and deacon of Hardinsburg Baptist Church and English Baptist Church and enjoyed playing
his guitar, gardening and visiting the nursing home.
He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Wardrip.
Wilbur is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: Judy and John Givens of Russellville, KY 3 grandchildren:
Shane (Andrea) Givens Amy (Timmy) Simmons Jason (Christy) Givens 5 great grandchildren: Dawson and Connor Simmons Drew, Anderson and Caroline Elizabeth Givens 1 brother - Earl Wardrip of Owensboro, KY 2 sisters - Nellie Dunn
of Hardinsburg, KY and Gracie Cotton of Madisonville, KY
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2010
at 1PM at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home with Rev. Harry Dooley officiating. Burial in the Ivy Hill Cemetery. Visitation on Wednesday
beginning at 11AM.

July 15, 2010 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was born in Breckinridge County on September 18, 1963, employed as a welder,
a member of Garfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking.
He was preceded in
